Center for Protein Conformational Diseases is launched

Deans N. John Cooper of the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences and Arthur Levine of the School of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh have announced the formation of the Center for Protein Conformational Diseases, to be led by Professor Jeffrey Brodsky.

The initial group of faculty who have agreed to be part of the Center includes scientists in the departments of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Medicine, Structural Biology, Computational and Systems Biology, Neurology, Developmental Biology, and Cell Biology, and includes scientists at both the University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University.
